Super Sentai Strongest Battle 2019 - Episode 1 Photo Review

Super Sentai series is doing a mini series called "Super Sentai Strongest Battle" Super Sentai Saikyou Battle (スーパー戦隊最強バトル) starting February 17th 2019, up to four episodes. This is to ushered the upcoming 2019 Super Sentai series Ryusoulger.

As with many VS theme movie, Super Sentai Strongest Battle simply put together all 49 super sentai team into one movie once more. To make thing fast forwards, there will be 32 team consist of five member, fighting each other in knock out bracket.

Episode 1 of Super Sentai Strongest Battle (Who is the Strongest of All Time!?
史上最強は誰だ!?) follow the story of the first team, the Odd Team consist of :

This series introduce villain called : Gaisorg, who somehow showed that he learn an attacking move from Luca (Gokai Yellow). This four episodes mini series is the first mini movie to be insert in super sentai  time slot. Is this mean the 2019 Ryusoulger will be four episodes less? 

Gokaiger vs Zyuohger - Super Sentai 2000 Episodes Anniversary

With the 40th Super Sentai series running this year, the show reach their #2000 episodes somewhere in episode #29 of Zyuohger. Zyuohger is the running 2016 super sentai series. It is also the 40th super sentai series in the franchise. Although the series did not do anything special about their 40th status (unlike Gokaiger in their 35th anniversary) the show do the 2000th episode anniversary with double episode which bring back Gokaiger in the show. The whole Gokaiger cast appeared and do a mini Gokaiger vs Zyuohger as double episodes, those are episodes #28 and #29. The story that Captain Marvelaous back to Earth to continue their journey to find the most precious treasure got conflict with the current Earth's defender, that is Zyuohger. The story went quite well actually.

Ninninger vs ToQger - Ninja in Wonderland - Photo review

Here are some photos review captured from the latest team up super sentai show. Shuriken Sentai Ninninger vs ToQger The Movie : Ninja in Wonderland. This are rather well developed story overall. The theme of train fully in used and blended well with ninja theme. Check the photos :

ToQger vs Kyoryuger Captured Images

The latest Super Sentai versus movie to date is Ressha Sentai ToQger vs Kyoryuger : The Movie. How is the train-based sentai and the Dinosaur sentai interact in this movie? Quite good. The story has some unique moments due to their uniqueness. Their first meeting in battle is not a brutal conflict, rather that the senior Kyoryuger gently protect their junior in all braveness, quite literally. One of most important highlight is in one of the main battle, ToQger team transformed into their children form. Funny and eye brow raising hell.

ToQger Episode 47 - Goodbye Rainbow Line

ToQger have reach their final stations and the Rainbow Line finally said goodbye to us. 2014 Super Sentai, Ressha Sentai ToQger end their journey in Episode 47 - 輝いているもの, A Shinning Thing. The show ended with classic final battle between super sentai vs villains. Here's the screenshot and some notes on ToQger final moments:

- This is the first series to have the red ranger transformed into black, making new color for the team. This making it difficult to counted ToQ-1 Black as 7th ranger.

ToQger vs Kamen Rider Gaim - Photos

This is a one hour special movie between 2014 Ressha Sentai Toqger and 2013 Kamen Rider Gaim. The official title is Ressha Sentai ToQger Vs. Kamen Rider Gaim Spring Vacation Combining Special (烈車戦隊トッキュウジャーＶＳ仮面ライダー鎧武春休み合体スペシャル Ressha Sentai Tokkyūjā Tai Kamen Raidā Gaimu Haruyasumi Gattai Supesharu).

The story intersecting Toqger travel to a city where the Gaim team lives. In the city of Zawame City where the Rainbow Line stopping by, Right cs meet Kouta Kazuraba and Mai Takatsukasa. When Badan Empire show up, Right, Hakari, Tokatti, Mio and Kagura begin fighting them. Soon Kouta transformed into Kamen Rider Gaim in Orange Arm suit then the show Toqger vs Gaim take off. Learning that the city being hostile by existance of Helheim Forest, Toqger team later join Gaim and Baron team in confront the Badan Empire. This is after a twist plot where you may want to find it by watching the movie...(spoiler prevented..).

Ai Moritaka of ToQger Pink Kagura - Photo Collections

Ai Moritaka is actress for Kagura Izumi, imaginative female main character from 2014 Super Sentai show ToQger. Along with Riria Baba who played Mio in the same show. Riria Baba of ToQger Mio Photo Collections

ToQger is the 38th Super Sentai series and its marked the return of duo female heroine rule. The female ranger are Mio as ToQ-3 ( トッキュウ3号 Tokkyū San-gō) and Kagura as ToQ-5 (トッキュウ5号 Tokkyū Go-gō). This post is about Riria Baba who cast as Mio in ToQger.

Baba Riria (馬場 梨里杏),  born 18 December 1993 in Tokyo. Riria is very talented in gravure and photo modelling.  In 2011, she won the Playboy Grand Prix prize at the third Gravure Japan awards. Aside from ToQger, she also appears in the film duology/TV miniseries Zero: Black Blood as the Makai Priestess Yuna.

The versus movie between 2012 Go-Busters and 2013 Kyouryuger is ready for us. In this movie both team being help by the Dinosaur sentai: Zyuranger and Abaranger. When we counted the cameo of ToQger in the ending, this make Kyoryuger vs Go-Busters the largest team assembling that appeared together in a movie, after the Gokaiger arc.

Episode 48 Final - Goodbye Kyoryuger and Welcome ToQger

Finally, one more Super Sentai series has reach its end. 37th Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger has complete their fate. It was a good one and for sure one of Super Sentai series that give a deep impression and memories. We gonna missed you Kyoryugers! Here the final episode 48 screenshots.

The Cast:
One of biggest asset in Kyoryuger is their large cast ensemble. From the core five team of Kyoryuger, extended to Torin, and the spirits. Also the second team of Kyoryuger, which is only revealed in episode 47 and this mark the new Super Sentai record to be a substitute team on the show. The supporting cast of Gentle, Rika and Candelira also give their parts to enriched the show. A flashback to the Kyoryuger cast:

The Kyoryugers

They are the first super sentai team that comprised of ten members, all fight together in one event and serial. Dekaranger also got as many ranger, but they are separated in several events. Kyoryuger also the first sentai team that has strong connection between the current sentai team and their previous predecessor, in this case called the 'spirits'. Shinkenger also got the same concept of previous sentai team, but they are not shown completely in the show.
